When you arrive at Leh Airport in the morning, our travel executives will welcome you with a smile and drop you to the hotel in a private car. Since Leh is 11,500 ft above sea level, the first day will be completely dedicated to rest and altitude acclimatization. The hilly beauty and serene atmosphere from the hotel window will give you the first glimpse of the trip. Overnight at the hotel.

Start the day with a cup of slow tea in the morning. Today you will visit:

• Shey Palace – A historic palace that gives a glimpse of Ladakhi history.
• Thikse Monastery – This Buddhist monastery perched on a hill fills you with its huge Buddha statue and serenity.
• Stok Palace Museum – A museum preserving the heritage of the royal family.

Afternoon:

• Hall of Fame – Museum dedicated to the valor of the Indian Army.
• Kalika Mata Mandir – Powerful idol of the Goddess located in Spituk Monastery.
• Gurdwara Patthar Sahib – Sacred place built in the memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
• Magnetic Hill – Where the vehicle climbs without engine, a wonderful mystery.
• Sangam Sthal – Confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers, a unique view.

Overnight at hotel.

After early breakfast, we will leave from Leh towards Pangong Lake crossing the Chang-La pass, the second highest pass in the world.

• Snowy mountains, blue sky and cold winds all along the way will make this journey filmy.
• Pangong Lake — Blue-blue water, mountains and snow-clad mountains all around, this lake is located on the Indo-China border and has become world famous due to the movie ‘Three Idiots’.
• You can click photos on the lake shore, enjoy Tibetan tea and get lost in the serenity of the lake.

Return to Leh in the evening and rest at the hotel.

In the morning, we will leave for the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La (18,380 ft). The snowy atmosphere, flag-lined paths and breath-taking adventure at the height will give you a new feeling.

After returning in the afternoon:

• Shanti Stupa – The view of Leh city from here at sunset is unforgettable.
• In the evening you can visit Leh market and buy Tibetan art, woolen clothes, puja items and souvenirs.
