Galle

The closest airport to Galle is the Bandaranaike International Airport (located in Colombo), which is approximately 150 km away. From the airport, you can take a taxi, arrange a private transfer or catch a bus to Galle. It will take between 2 and 3 hours to get there via the Southern Expressway and will be a comfortable and exciting ride.

Galle is connected well to Colombo and many other major cities via highway. The Southern Expressway (E01) is a quick and comfortable way to travel, taking around 2 hours.
