How to reach Gujarat

Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport runs daily flights from every major Indian city and direct international connections to Dubai, Singapore, London, and the US. Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhuj also have domestic airports. Budget carriers keep fares low.

The National Expressway network links Gujarat seamlessly. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway cuts Delhi-Ahmedabad to 12 hours, Ahmedabad-Surat is a smooth 4-hour cruise. Luxury Volvo buses (many with onboard pantries) run overnight from Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Udaipur and Jaipur.

Western Railway’s pride: double-decker Tejas, Vande Bharat, and the luxurious Garvi Gujarat Express whisk you from Mumbai in 5-6 hours and Delhi in 12-14 hours. Ahmedabad Junction is one of India’s cleanest and best-connected stations.
