Kasol
Kasol is a small but extremely beautiful and serene hill village located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at an altitude of about 1580 meters above sea level in the Parvati Valley and is famous for its picturesque views, lush green forests, calm atmosphere and hippie culture. Kasol is also called “Mini Israel of India” because a large number of Israeli tourists visit here. This place is especially very popular among backpackers, trekkers and nature lovers.
The weather in Kasol remains pleasant throughout the year, but it is best to visit here between April to June and October to February. The paths can be slippery during the rainy season, so it is better to avoid traveling during that time.
