Kasol Travel Destination
Kasol is a small but extremely beautiful and serene hill village located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. - The nearest airport to Kasol is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu–Manali Airport), which is located about 31 km from Kasol. This airport is connected to major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. You can easily reach Kasol from Bhuntar by taxi or bus. Since air services are limited, it is convenient to book tickets in advance. The air route is faster, but sometimes flights may get delayed due to weather.
- Kasol is well connected by road to major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Manali and Kullu. The distance from Delhi to Kasol is about 520 km and it can take about 12 to 14 hours. Regular private and government buses are available to Bhuntar and Manali, from where Kasol can be reached by taxi or local bus. Those traveling by private vehicle should take care of the hilly routes as the paths are winding.
- The nearest railway station to Kasol is Joginder Nagar, which is located at a distance of about 144 km. This station is located in Himachal Pradesh and is connected to Pathankot by a toy train service. Though it is a slow journey, it is famous for the beautiful views of the hills. After the train journey from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar, one can reach Kasol via taxi or bus. The experience of the train journey is peaceful and full of natural beauty.
