Raghunath Temple

Bada Imambara

Bada Imambara, built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, is the identity of Lucknow. Its architectural style is a wonderful blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. No beam or iron has been used in it. Its labyrinth part is very popular among tourists. There is also a Bawali (well) and a mosque in the premises of the Imambara. This place is important from religious, historical and cultural point of view and millions of tourists visit here every year.

Rumi Darwaza

Rumi Darwaza is also called “Turkish Gate” and is a symbol of Nawabi architecture of Lucknow. This huge gate is 60 feet high and is located near Bada Imambara.
