Dashain

Dashain is one of the largest Hindu festivals within the region of Chitwan, as many families come together to celebrate by holding gatherings, performing rituals and receiving blessings from priests. Homes are beautifully decorated, and many individuals visit local temples to pray. The festival is a time for communities to be united through the expression of happiness and devotion.

Tihar Festival

Celebrated in the region of Chitwan, Tihar is known as the Festival of Lights due to its many lamps, lighted decorations, and the prevalence of rangoli.
