Things to do in Vrindavan

Raasleela Darshan

The lila of Shri Radha-Krishna are staged at various places in Vrindavan, which are called ‘Raasleela’. These traditional dance-dramas connect devotees to mythology and take them to the depth of devotion. This experience is especially interesting for children and foreign tourists.

Bhajan Sandhya and Satsang

The Bhajan Sandhya held in every temple of Vrindavan in the evening is very emotional. Devotees sing bhajans in the temples, and spiritual gurus conduct satsang. Sitting in this environment gives a unique experience of devotion and peace.

Vrindavan Parikrama

This is a 12 km long parikrama that covers the major temples and sites of Vrindavan. Devotees do parikrama barefoot while singing bhajans and kirtans. It is a path of spiritual purification and introduces tourists to the local culture.

Participating in Holi Festival

Vrindavan’s Holi is especially world famous. Holi of flowers, Holi of colours and festivals full of devotion thrill the tourists. Thousands of tourists from India and abroad come to see the Holi festival at Banke Bihari temple.
