Triveni Sangam

The most sacred place in Prayagraj is Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meet. Bathing here is believed to liberate one from sins and attain salvation. Lakhs of devotees bathe here during Magh Mela, Ardh Kumbh and Kumbh Mela. Going to the Sangam site by boat and bathing is a wonderful experience.

Allahabad Fort

This historical fort built by the Mughal emperor Akbar is located on the banks of the Sangam. It is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Akshayvat tree, Patalpuri temple and a mysterious underground temple are special attractions here. The architecture and history of the fort especially attract tourists.

Anand Bhawan

This is the former residence of the Nehru-Gandhi family, which has now been converted into a museum. Many documents, photographs and personal items related to India’s freedom struggle can be seen here. This place is very special for those interested in Indian politics and history.

Khusro Bagh

Aranya Devi Temple

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Aranya and is very important from a religious point of view. It is believed that this place became a Shakti Peeth due to the falling of one of the body parts of Goddess Sati. The peaceful atmosphere of the temple fills the devotees with spiritual energy.
